Ugh...did you hear npr's spin on this story? They had the former secretary in charge of issues such as this on and she was whining about how the couple caused undue turmoil in a period of crisis due to a selfish need for attention (paraphrasing).

Seems to me they just gave the Whitehouse the heads up they needed to be aware of a security breech was possible and maybe if they are so concerned someone needs to be fired. which makes me wonder is this a precursor to something more nefarious alluded to by Gore Vidal?

Anywho, I for one am sick of citizens paying for politicians to live like royalty. Seems they forgot that house belongs to 'We the People' and the money they throw around for their royal dinners or 850 mi imported chefs came off the backs of the working folks. I cease to feel the emotional turmoil that fear mongering msm tries to drum up for the safety of the blood sucking leeches in Washington. Maybe they should pick a different line of work, ya think? Or accept the good with the bad...Choices, choices. Everything has a price to pay.

This story has Secret Service fail written all over it.
The Secret Service doesn't fail on accident.
A shot over the bow?
Damn if I know.

Never underestimate a government agency's ability to fail.

The ususal story: gorgeous woman is able to walk past the toughest men because they are largely driven by what is going on in their trousers as opposed to in their brains! C'est la vie!

A viable strategy which has worked myriad times throughout history, most notably in the spy realm.

But they look so authentic:

I don't know why anyone would want to hang out with these politicians. I woud just go for the food if anything.

Apparently they were in the White House legitimately but they were not invited to the dinner.

Am I the only one looking at those two tyrants smug faces that wants to wipe it right off? A good one to the choppers and that should do it. A kick while they're down would be in order too. Ugh.

It's being spun that way out of embarrassment now.
If they were supposed to be there the White House would have said so immediately when the story broke.

ATFP?
No wonder they weren't on the guest list.
