"Tips you can trust from the Federal Reserve."

Yeah, okay. I don't trust them to spot a housing bubble on the rise. Why should I trust their credit card advice?

Unlimited funds to launch a propaganda campaign. Watch out.

Yeah, the Fed is in bed with the CC companies - here's a clip from a few years ago w/ Elizabeth Warren talking about Alan Greenspan

I think you just wanted to post something silly.

Quite interesting since Elizabeth Warren is the chair of the oversight panel on the 'bailout'.

Yes of course, but still, I think the connection between the Fed spewing propaganda to the masses allows an analogy to be drawn to this Apple commercial.

We should run a money bomb to run our own Federal Reserve ads.

Fascinating. Here's an idea. Find out the cities that will be targetted by this and hold mini "End The Fed" rallies in front of the most popular theaters. Give people copies of "The money masters" and other DVDs. Print up fliers that point out the hypocrisy of the fed encouraging fiscal responsibility among the American people while facilitating the federal government taking on more debt to mask bad debt. If enough people are willing to take on this project we could really make this backfire on the PTB.

Yeah. Maybe we could even have ours play in movie theatres. :)

How much does that cost?

You young whippersnappers should start going to the movies and chanting "End The Fed" when the spots come on.

I thought the same thing when I read the OP.

Too bad I won't get a chance; the Fed's policies have made going out to the movies cost-prohibitive, for my budget.

Lol!

Everyone always complains about the high cost of movie tickets "these days," but no one ever asks why.

Is it going to be like those stupid anti-download PSAs where they tell you that you wouldn't download a car ? Because, you know, the Fed "downloaded" a currency.

actually these ads will be used with taxpayer money more than likely which is just something else we can stick to them.. along with their $300 million art collection and full time curator and 47 learjets that they currently all have.

I used to work at Blockbuster in college; my major was audio engineering (recording industry). I have taken several courses on copyright laws. When those asinine PSA's came on our rotation in-store video system I would skip it and forward it to the next promo. I refused to allow that propaganda to be played in my presence. Knowing the ins and outs of copyright law I can assure there is no actually tie to anything factual about copyright law involved in those videos.

Everyone always complains about the high cost of movie tickets "these days," but no one ever asks why.Well the studios demand a tiered pricing structure over time. In other words the opening week studios take 95% of the ticket price, the theater takes 5%. The 2nd week the studio takes 90% of the price, the theater takes10% of the ticket price. This repeats for several weeks. It's how the $1 theaters operate.

The Federal Reserve actually has a comic book out to help propogandize our children:

Well, I was making an inflation joke. You can't go to the movies for a quarter anymore, that's for sure. Thank you, Federal Reserve.
