The founder of the Club For Growth made an interesting comment today. He said that while we hear a lot about companies that are "too big to fail", the federal government is a monopoly that is "too big to succeed".
What a great soundbite! - would make a a good bumper sticker too: "Federal Gvmt: TOO BIG TO SUCCEED"
but it got me thinking too... it's not supposed to be like that. that would be a great lead in to a flier or youtube about the enumerated rights of Congress and why most laws passed are done under the authority of the "general welfare clause" which is not an authority granted Congress or a perversion of the interstate transportation clause.
anyone want to run with one of these ideas?
