It was around midnight on the beach, I used a flash light and 2 red bulls and a fleece. There was a heavy wind and I watched layers of sand erode off. I felt this should have to uncover something.
The rangers drive their trucks all over the beach, throughout the day, and I noticed their tread had really gashed into the sand. Knowing gold is dense and travels down I carefully went over these areas and soon pulled up a strong foil signal. I dig all foil. For most of the ride home I thought it was a trinket, but when I got it in a good light I saw six gold studs :eek::eek: , embedded in silver, , an old gold earing, treasure!
Now I'm re-examining two other finds I had in the past 3-4 days. One could be a polished little diamond in gold plate, but then again it could just be a trinket.
I'm itching to go back out again but my body's exhausted. Just wanted to share.
