Solution gleaned from brief scanning of his recent tirades: accept resonsibility and GO THROUGH A HORRIBLY DEGRADING DEPRESSION, LIKE YOUR GRANDPAPPY.

Thanks, establishment shill.

Isn't he supposed to make a special announcement this weekend on how to beat the system?

Yes, and it appears his plan is to wear your clothes until they're filled with holes and patches. It's the responsible thing to do, even if you're in your 20's and it isn't your debt by any stretch of the imagination. He thinks the slaves of JP-AMerica-Plantation need to suck it up and show "personal responsibility" as they, yet again, pay for the mistakes (and mostly outright criminality) of our owners.

I haven't watched Beck's recent tirades, but some people like John Williams of ShadowStats (who opposed the bailouts) said we would have gone into a deflationary depression if they weren't bailed out. Jim Rogers has described how other countries in the past have avoided govt. intervention and faced 'horrible pain' in the short term and it was worth it. Tom Woods has said we would have had a very sharp but temporary downturn in the economy if not for the bailouts. If we had to go through a temporary depression in order for the system to right itself, I say so be it.

Face it. In the business cycle (Boom-Bust) you do not simply enjoy the Boom, then expect not to go through shit for the insane amount of misallocation that took place. Yes, it would be painful, for a short while. This is the express consequence of having the Fed and mercantilist policies. The solution is to return to the Free-Market, where these occurences do not happen in such severity or for such periods of time. In the period between 1800 and 1900 there were recessions (Wonder why our recessions today turn into years and years and depressions...), and they were MILD compared to today's recessions. There were no Depressions and if they did call it that it would be comparable to todays recessions. They were over in generally a years time or less.

So, yes, we all got screwed because our parents and grandparents did this to us. Perhaps along with the politico's we should also tar and feather those who supported and voted for the people who committed these crimes...would they not also be accessories? (Of course I say this half-jokingly....) So, what do you suppose we do? We're going to have to answer for our actions at some point and it is going to be painful VERY painful on the order of which Americans for decades have yet had to endure. But these are the consequences of our actions, and why I abhorr Democracy and Mercantilism. The light though, is that we can correct our mistakes and in the long-term produce prosperity, liberty, and leave a better world for our posterity. So, yes it sucks, but we have to do the correct thing.
