Hello

I am up to my neck in new project .I would like to share more. But I can’t.

What do I need from you?

I need 20 things you think every person should know about a person in an elected office (or running for office) should be asked before the public votes for them.

Example:

1. War: Approve

2. Budget deficits: Disapprove

3. Patriot Act: Approve

I would like as many questions as possible to point back to a violation of the Bill of Rights or Constitution….but not all.

The top 20 Things will be part of a rating system.

Thanks

I’ll start with…

1. Gun control

2. Patriot Act

3. Federal Reserve

4.States' Rights

5.Property Rights

6.Entitlement programs

7.Limited Gov't

8. War

9.War on drugs

10.

Hmmm... I think I'll just list stuff, not necessarily in order, and not necessarily with answers. These are just things I like to know about a candidate, or that others might:

Voting record (this assumes this person has held some kind of office before)
Property Rights
Abortion (not my thing, but you know everyone will want to ask)
Freedom versus Safety (this ties in with the Patriot Act)
Eminent Domain
States' Rights
Intellectual Property Rights
Federal Reserve (demonstrate some knowledge of how it works, have an opinion on what should be done about it)
Foreign Policy
UN
Tax Structure
Entitlement programs (ALL of the traditional ones, including Social Security; have a plan, please)
Death Penalty
Criminal punishments in general (things like "Three Strikes," opinions on jailing non-violent offenders, etc.)
Running mate (if applicable) and other advisors (would they choose someone who compliments their style, or surround themselves with an echo chamber?)
