Great article. His critiques of Tom Woods should be noted, though.

The history books portray the South as the root of all evil and the North as the saviors of mankind. However, Woods, probably for the sake of balance, completely reverses it. In reality, both sides are wrong. The North and South were both far from angels, but by the same note, they weren't all bad either. I would have preferred a more middle of the road history text where the good and bad of both sides are presented, rather than just one good and one bad side.

Woods' point was that it can't be called a civil war cause the south didn't want to take over the country
