that headline can be a reality,Ron Paul Republican reclaims local democratic party!

Hi Everyone, I emailed JJ and i am waiting for his bio and positions. He will be explaining how he ran as a Ron Paul Republican. He will be running as a Ron Paul democrat. I asked him to write a lil bio and why he is running as a democrat now.
Once i get the info. I will post on RPF forums.

He has a strong chance at winning. What better message to send to the coloradogop and national gop. then having to run ron paul republicans as dems to win, since the gop refuses to endorse or back ron paul republicans!

If anyone would be willing to help support or help me in creating an online campaign it would be helpful. I will be doing what i can on the ground in Colorado to help JJ all the way to a landslide win or just a win

This is gonna be very interesting and i would love you ron paul supporters to help in making this huge. This is a race in Colorado, but it sends a strong message to the cogop and national gop.

i should have some info for you soon very soon 2010 here we come!!!
Liberty has no party.

I'm all for Ron Paul Democrats as long as they stay on message. If they cross the socialism line they lose me, but as I've said before if they stay on message I'd rather elect a Ron Paul Democrat than Repub, as the GOP would see it as their win if we elect them with an (R).

I think you will like him. i am sure someone will have something to say on his issues . ron paul supporters never have an opinion:) hehe

as i remind all republicans. the gop have not cornered the market on registered indys/libertarians and liberty minded folks. to be honest i find democratic voters are level headed and open to ron pauls republican message more then republicans themselves.

as most of you know many democrats that i know would of voted for ron paul in a heartbeat but they would of never joined the gop. the gop sooner or later will get a clue. sad times when a ron paul republican is offered a dems seat to run. i am guessing the colorado gop has alot further to fall. the colorado gop and the gop is making their own bed.

you think we might be seeing a shift in party politics again, kind of like when the stodgy warhawks migrated to the republican side?

as much as I hate politics, "libertarian-democrat" makes much more sense than "libertarian-republican"

well no reason we cannot try to reclaim both parties back to liberty:) aka Ron Paul's Platform.

basically our democratic party in lake county really is republicans and libertarians and conservative democrats. The interesting part is JJ had run against the democrat and got a good %.The dem liked his message so much.He offered his seat to the ron paul republican to run against the republican. this is a conservative democratic district. i wish ron paul republicans around the nation would understand. there are plenty of conservatives and libertarians in the democratic party. the gop does not corner the market. All politics is local as well as the democratic and republican party. Use the tools that are best for you to use locally!! our county commissioner is a dem but us ron paul republicans also supported him over the party republican, mike got over 83% of the local vote;) change is coming:)

Is this a state house seat or what? Or state senate? Or Federal House of Reps?

this was 08 issues he ran on, i am waiting on new bio for next election issues

There are several issues which are vitally important to me: Better Education; Lower Taxes; Fewer Taxes; The Environment; Good Jobs at Good Wages; and a bunch of others. But two issues stand out...

Wasteful Government Spending. The Department of Motor Vehicles needed new computers. The legislature approved the purchase of new computers for $31 million. When the computers were installed, they didn't work. So, the legislature approved another $31 million to get those computers to work. Then, the legislature looked into how other states upgraded their computers for their Department of Motor Vehicles.
Before that boondoggle, the Department of Welfare needed new computers. The legislature approved the purchase for $11.5 million. You guessed it, those computers didn't work at first either.

What this all means is this... This legislature doesn't understand the value of our money. They are not good stewards of the public trust. "Government must come to understand that every dollar that it uses had to be first taken from a citizen who created it." We cannot afford this continued waste.

I pledge to do my best to reduce government waste and to be a good steward

Partisan Politics. Politics seems to bring out the worst in people. Mud-slinging, name-calling, really uncivilized behavior. Most of the nastiness is across party lines. I'm tired of it. I believe a lot of people are also tired of it. A coworker told me, "Well, you're going into politics. You're gonna have to get down-and-dirty." I Refuse. I choose to see the best in people and that shapes how I interact with them. I don't care what party anyone belongs to. When it comes to serving the people, I can work with anyone.
I pledge to bring a new level of civilized and ethical behavior to the political arena. Yes, I'm an idealist. To me, that's a good thing.
