I would imagine everyone who could, gave everything they had to give during the last push. I myself am maxed out.

Maybe they also should send out an email announcement about it.

I would hope/assume that the IT guys for the site are working on a live-updating version kind of like the thermometer. Anyone know if that is the case?

Maybe the dynamic widgets are costing the campaign too much in bandwidth usage.

$12 million in q4. Well, I hope they're planning on rolling mail-in contributions and fundraisers into this number. Or else they must be expecting some kind of huge surge. (Now see, I went and used that word) :)

The bar wouldn't visibly rise, but the cumulative dollar amount could be updated, along with the most recent donor. I'm sure the thermometer widget bar didn't move up visibly either -- but it was still a great widget due to the live updates.

I maxed out at the end of last quarter, so I can't directly give to this. Time to start recruiting others.

This goal may be a little lofty, but think what it says about their Q3 numbers. Let's see, they got $2.4 million in Q2 and they want $12 million in Q4. That puts their Q3 number at around $6-7 million.

hopefully they looked at their small donors and decided it would be doable.
