The Constitution and founding documents are silent on the issue. Property rights is the closest thing we have to an environmental platform. But maybe "global warming" isn't the only environmental issue confronting us, and some of these issues may be very real and effect our quality of life directly. If so, what is the appropriate response? What would need to change or how?

By "the environment", do you mean "man-made global warming"? That's false. Preserving the environment is important however, and best done through private property rights.
