Post-war inflation, rampant speculative investments, a large trade deficit, & ripples from economic dislocation in Europe caused the panic of 1873. Collectivists sought bailouts & inflation of the money supply. President Grant vetoed the bill, America returned to the gold standard and experienced several years of unprecedented economic expansion.

Capitalism is about voluntary exchange. No guns or force are involved. How could you possibly like this picture?

It depends on the interpretation of the picture. Is the guy in red defending his money or forcing the blue guy to do something?

The idea of freedom is just as intangible as the concept of money. Money is an extention of a definition that we apply a personal value to. The gun pointed at the blue mans head is quite tangible. Choose your evil. Great pic.

to me it looks sequential like the blue guy had money then the red guy put a gun in his face and took it

the artist could have done a much better job with that concept by making the moneybag the same color as the owner of said money and having the same guy attempting to rob in both examples

and i would have avoided using red and blue bein they make people think or reps and dems instead of right and wrong
