Amusing so far.

I was getting worried about their portrayal of Wendi/Obama as being benevolent and immune to legitimate criticism...then bam.

Yea it was good. I had a feeling that's the direction it was going as soon as Cartman started the announcements.

I got interrupted and couldn't concentrate on it. Was Wendy actually guilty of Cartman's bizarre accusations, to everyone's surprise including Cartman himself?

Trey Parker is a Libertarian (http://www.theadvocates.org/celebrities/trey-parker.html), I'm pretty sure matt stone is too but i can't confirm it.

Is Beck really far right? He's closer to libertarian than far right.

Yes. I've noticed the guns pointed in our direction lately.

We're so far right, we're nearly left. I think that's roughly how Keith Blabbermann put it.

Disappointing episode. Aside from the bulldozer scene it wasn't very good.

I suppose somebody who watched it from the early seasons (I'm assuming you have) may see it that way. They do load it up with meaning now, but I enjoy it. It is ALWAYS how I think of the situation that is posed. I guess people that don't think that way hate it. Oh well.

To this day, I wonder why South Park never touched the Ron Paul Revolution topic especially given the creators' libertarian leanings.

Most likely because it isn't something that is nationally or widely known.

Dunno that i'd want to see an episode about Ron Paul.. cause it'd have to be funny.. I mean, during the election it would have been funny if they showed the mainstream candidates as total puppets and then had someone running for President that really understood the needs of the citizens but had a completely underground campaign that nobody talked about on TV.. that coulda been funny..

This was a good episode for sure..

Beck responds to recent wave of media exposure:

YouTube - Glenn Beck takes on 'hit piece' in Playboy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-Qa9GQlA8s)

Best parts are 3:43 and 6:50.

Hah, you should checkout last week's episode.. that was one of the best episodes EVER and NOBODY HERE MADE A THREAD ABOUT IT WTF!!

South Park re-defined the word "***", as it has changed definitions throughout history.. Now Harley Davidson motorcycle riders are ****, and the word has nothing to do with gay people.. man.. what a great episode that was :D

Ghost Hunters, Whale Wars, The motorcycle one I don't think so much but the bikers kinda put me in mind of Sons of Anarchy (although I've never seen it, just the commercials for it.), WWE wrestling , and now Glenn Beck. I guess the episode where Butters is a pimp doesn't really parody a show but it references ACORN and the prostitution scandal with that. Looks like tomorrow's episode "Pee" won't be either.
