Studies show that trucks with billboards have a 91% readership and the cost per thousand impressions is less than a dollar, the cheapest form of marketing there is on the planet except making our own bandit signs.

I think the campaign should jump on the idea of trucks with Ron Paul. One truck in a large metro area gets 1,000,000 per month for about $800.

... and gets 2-4 MPG on a good day.

JK... I actually like the idea -- even if they're just parked on the corner of very busy intersections. There's a transport company out here who makes extra money turning their whole fleet into mobile billboards @ a price, plus the money they make from actually hauling and delivery.

Check out the new car vinyl signs that are being sold at www.ronpaulstuff.com.

They are inexpensive with the most expensive at $17. They are offered in small, medium and large sizes.

They really stand out on an automobiles window.

We have installed over 15 in Sarasota over the last week.

I just called one company about this. They said they have no problems with political advertisements.

Ballpark figure between 5-20K, depending on length and location.

These are the fancy billboard trucks with the changing images, lights and FM transmitters (for transmitting a brief ad over an FM station). Expensive, but I think some of the larger meetups could swing one for a week or two.

A standard box truck or a van would do the trick though. I think the graphics would have to look professionally made, though. It'd make a better impression.

A driving billboard is very expensive, about $3,500 a week. If you put the signs on box trucks it's $800 per month + cost of the lettering. You can't beat it for exposure.

I'm sure there are, but most truckers only own the cab, not the trailer.

"ronpaulhawaii" has another contact that will sell you one apparently "at cost", but I don't know what that final price is.

I would say that for the primaries, advertising on conservative talk radio is the BEST bang for the buck because it's highly targeted. In other words, more people that hear the radio ads are likely to vote in the primary than the average person who will randomly see the truck.

Definitely less than $40

I was just stoked the guy had thanked me for turning him on to RP and joined a MU.
