I have always called ahead to find out how much a doctor is going to charge for what I need. I haven't ever had insurance. I am very healthy and do not need the services of a doctor very often. I am able to take care of most minor emergencies myself. I know when I am in over my head and need to seek out side help.

I have found that many minor emergency clinics are very open to cutting a deal for cash.

I hate the way people are so afraid to take care of themselves and take responsibility for their health. I can't understand it.

Certainly not to knock Stossel ... I'm pushing for Mackey to run for office and was pointing out that interview.
