Pelosi let those at risk democrats vote against the healthcare bill as long as she had the one vote to win. She wants those democrats to win reelection next year. Unless that democrat voted against the bailout and the stimulus he is not a fiscal conservative and just voted against this bill to save his hide.

Someone said in a gushing congratulatory piece that was on the front page of Yahoo... that she never sleeps nor eats. The woman is a nutjob. She's a strategically great nutjob for her causes, but only insofar as the system currently operates. If she were held immediately accountable for her behavior she would have been out of there a long time ago.
