Who is that blogger? A number of people here have already said it may be CIA etc..before any info was even out. That's what people with an agenda do, nobody wants to wait to see what happens.

two things i find odd

1. ALL of the original reports stated that there were at least 3 shooters. Now it's one.

2. How does 1 man shoot 30 people...soldiers no less...without someone stopping him

An exit is only so wide.
Hundreds of people can not fit through one all at once.
When people here gunfire they move away from it in an expedited manner and towards an exit.
Gunman has three extra clips and takes careful aim as he moves toward the trapped victims killing as he moves along.
Killer probably had a pretty wide berth due to the fact that he was the only person armed in the beginning.

Reports ALWAYS change when something crazy goes down. A couple hours after 9/11 I remember hearing that the white house was bombed and that israel was vaporized. Shit happens.

MSNBC chic actually said that Republican Michelle "killed health care reform" today in conjuction of shooting incidence with "armed and dangerous" phrase.

MSNBC news producers can be nutty.

One of the articles I read today said that the troops on base don't carry weapons on them unless they are training. Makes sense. So even though there are 45,000-70,000 (heard different numbers) Troops, not everyone could respond to the event.

Apparently it was a civilian cop that took the shooter down. Which just sounds weird for it happening on an Army base.

I'm stationed at fort hood currently in iraq and i have been through the same buildings. Very small building with soldiers cramped up against each other. There is no place to go in there. It would have been very plausible for one man to do that kind of damage.

Yeah, I was going to say it was probably like going to the DMV and opening fire.

He was obviously going for a high body count.

I'm wondering what they'll do with him, since he's alive and this is looking to be a clear case of treason. It's one thing to refuse orders or desert your comrades, its quite another to turn your gun on military and civilian alike. I actually hope they just keep him over here next to me in Leavenworth in a dungeon forever and don't let him speak at all so that he won't be martyred.

I'm imagining, if he really has made himself to be a kind of jihadist, he'd love nothing more than to say his piece in court and then be executed.

Yes, but looking at both reports, it seems the OK reference has been removed from the digsby link. Am I missing something?

Sorry to hear about your car :(

Hey, some people wouldn't have the money to get it fixed at all. It's all perspective.

It's still there, second paragraph. He doesn't mention them by name, but the word "this" links to Oathkeepers.

You're in Iraq, right now? Are you a member of Oathkeepers?

Stay safe :hugs:
