It seems late for another candidate (hope one doesn't run).

Even if they have the money, they've already lost like three months or so of television and print media attention.

No longer can they call Rand Paul a fringe candidate. This is huge news.

The only thing that would make this day better is an endorsement from DeMint's PAC (http://senatestrategy.com/index.php?c=)... :)

1) It is amazing!

2) My feelings aren't "mixed" at all. This is great!

3) Sure. We're not used to this. It's still great.

4) It's only not a "blessing" if we take it for granted and don't work our butts off. Other than that it's simply great! I have seen frontrunners lose their leads if they don't respond to attacks. That's why Rand needs plenty of money. He also needs to be sure and respond effectively to attacks. Rand's a nice guy, but he's articulate enough to effectively ward off smear campaigns. We've just got to make sure he has enough of a war chest to stay on the air.

5) Word! That's why this is a HUGE blessing! What killed Ron more than anything else was the lack of name recognition combined with the "he can't win anyway" attitude. Rand has already overcome those two huge huddles.

Rock on Rand!

Yep, but they're late to the dance, the establishment backing them is all over the map at present and scrambling, and we should be able to maintain the two most important things one can ever have in politics ... money and message.

We got the perception of a winner now as opposed to a contender. The fence sitters come off the fences now and we should raise more money than ever:)

Bailey got appointed as Ambassador to some little eastern block country nobody never heard of after she raised $200K for W. I think it was called "Ibetucan" before she was Ambassador. After that, they had another revolution and changed the name to "Ibetucant":p

So Paul leads among 35-49 and 65+, but loses among 18-34? Where'd the younger voters go? Well, at least older people are more likely to vote.

Grayson beats Mongiardo/Conway, while Paul loses slightly to Conway and ties Mongiardo. That's the downside to this poll.

All and all, it still feels good to see Paul slightly beating Grayson for the primary. Quite a shift. The primary is the focus now.

This is some amazing and unstoppable news.

It's proof that this is working, it's proof that he can win. I'm giving all credit to Paul's vigorous campaign. It's not an online poll, and it's not fundraising numbers. This is the real deal.

Now if only some other candidates we'd love to see win would get the hell out on the road and campaign like winners, we'd be sitting high on the hog in 2010.
