View Full Version : Sould we do a phone blitz targeting NH democrats before Oct 12th deadline?

From what I gather, this effects about 10 to 15% of our total votes. After Oct 12th, NO democrat can vote republican in the primary. Should we just move on and forget about them? Or reach as many as possible.

Maybe we can even just have a machine call them automatically with a recorded message. In 2000, John McCain's campaign did that in Michigan, calling lists of Catholic voters with a "Catholic voter alert" message that helped him beat Bush for the state. It was controversial, but not ineffective.

If nothing else, you could find dems who are happy with whoever gets the nod from the party and convince them to vote for Ron so that the war won't be an issue in the general election. Either way for them, it's win-win.

We would have to have that up and running ASAP and saturate it. I mean we only have a week really, and people need to hear something 6 times before they get the message.

I think it's a great idea. A lot of Dems out there are disillusioned with their range of choices (or lack thereof) this time around.

I'd say that it is grammatically incorrect in that it does not express what the writer intended. I have to admit, the the idiom of switching "couldn't care less" to "could care less" is a pet peeve of mine too. The two phrases mean the opposite of one another, yet people treat them interchangeably.

I completely support all phone blitzing.

I especially support organized concentrated phone blitzing on big media.
I also especially support the same for ALL media outlets in a particular primary state.
