Hi there, as you can see, I've been silent for quite some time. I've been trying to focusing on trying to restore something resembling a normal life and I hope you are all well.

This quote from this thread (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=216891) makes me desire to break my silence:
"The average Joe who doesn't have our knowledge about what are the real problems and what the solution is won't understand anything Ron is talking about, hell he won't even watch it."

Yes, we are that far down the slope. Most people can't understand the issues because they are complex, or they are brainwashed by 50 inch plasma tv's (so glad I'm a TV free household) and they think money grows on trees.

We state that the private sector can do it better than big government, but are we doing all we can to SHOW that? I don't really think so.

What can we do differently?

Can we lead with examples and actions, not concepts and words???
- volunteer to help a group and state your affiliation when you do so
- if you're a doctor or dentist, promote your views and offer a few free hours of appointments per week
- create a section on this site to lift up the unemployed and underemployed - starting with the fine people of this community - there are so many people on this board who are highly talented and not working and/or not being paid to their full potential (including myself - I just went through a 3 month interview process for a 6 figure job and came up #2 again - I haven't had health care since 2007) We can do better, we must do better.
- volunteer - anywhere, get out there and meet people and show them that freedom is popular, friendly and an alternative to big faceless, globalist paid for schemes.

Put a face on liberty, not abstract words concrete actions. Can we change the context of the debate?

Exactly, there are too many sunshine patriots on this forum. Start a YAL or SFL chapter. Volunteer for C4L!

The ROI on this would be way better than money bombs only.
