I like Ray, but he doesn't look like he's doing well in the polls. He is well received when he speaks, but for some reason that isn't translating into votes and the Republican old-guard doesn't seem to be enthusiastic about his run (folks keep talking about 'experience' as if that makes for a more qualified candidate). I don't care, though, I'll write him in if I have to, unless John Monds can pull off another 33% of the vote (although, he mostly did well because it was just a race between him and a Republican; there was no Democrat candidate running). He also doesn't have much going on as far as campaigning goes, and his website is never updated.

It sucks that neither of these good candidates look to have much of a shot in the race.
