In this Audit the Fed update, Dr. Paul explains what is happening with HR 1207 in the Monetary Policy Subcommittee, describes his plan to protect 1207 in the full Financial Services Committee, and provides ideas on actions we can take to keep Audit the Fed from being watered down.

This is what I took from Yoda's speech:

1. This might take 1.5-2 years to play out.
2. But the dollar might collapse well before that.

So Ron believes that there are VERY good chances of the dollar busting before any real action with 1207 takes place. The Fed will just tie this bill up and put it off while running the presses as fast as they can to destroy the economy before decent action takes place.

Because I think we all know (and Ron just said) they have another currency in mind anyway.

Like Ron said earier. Prepare for the worst.

I'm hoping for the best of course but I have a feeling that this is going to be a nationwide event making hurricane katrina look like a playground. And foreign troops will be brought in under martial law because of the dollar collapse.

Just my thoughts.

so basicly; all our efforts are still to no avail; if this EVER even makes it to the presidents desk to sign it will be soooo watered down, it will be immaterial and i dont believe our $ has more than a year like the good Dr. said :(

No, it is not. More people are hearing about the Federal Reserve NOW, than ever before. This is NOT the time to throw in the towel; it is the time to STAND UP and PUSH FORWARD, like never before!

"What really counts is not the actions of the petty and not-so-petty crooks who comprise the congress, but the changes taking place in the hearts and minds of the American people and people around the world. There Ron Paul has won an historic victory, no matter what the official criminal class does. The Fed today stands on far shakier ground than at any time since 1913. Let’s have an earthquake. End the Fed!"

Sounds like the last person we should be focusing on is Mel Watt. Instead we should be focusing especially on the Dems in the committee who cosponsored the bill.

Never give up ! Never surrender!

He talks about remaining diplomatic whilst sticking to what we want...a full audit. He still says we have the upper hand. And he does not seem to think Frank has orchestrated this. And he feels the Courts will be the biggest hurdle. He is so tenacious...does not sound discouraged. Some of us should take leaf out of his book.

There must have been some pretty wild calls coming into his office. He gave a pretty good lesson on the workings of congress. I think he figured we needed it:D:D
