God can be used as a means to commit evil but it is far from the root of evil. Just like how the free market can be used to do things perceived as evil by some but it can also do a great deal of good.

The root of all evil is fear. God and Religion is merely an excuse for fear of the unknown.

Yeah I am not claiming that religion is "root" of all evil.

It's just a very well done documentary with a lot of interesting insight imo.

Yeah, I've seen this, it's very interesting. Religion can be good for some people, but it can also be very harmful.
