No. 8 by far the biggest supporter of libertarian movement, not just for US Americans but also for Iraqis, Israelis etc.

No one is the "most important" supporter.

I disagree. I'm voting for Carol.

I know it was a "cheap shot" of sorts, but who here believes that he would have ran for president if she put her foot down and so, "No".? :)

I say the Youth of America.

Glenn Beck? Since when does labeling all of Ron's supporters domestic terrorists while labeling Ron the "Mayor of Crazy Town" make him a supporter? Let alone an "important supporter."

No. 8 likened us to Terrorists, just food for thought.

Well, if we had to pick, it would have to be his family. Let me tell you. Without family support I don't see Ron Paul going through all the hardships in the campaigns that he has. Secondly, if your family doesn't support what you are doing, it makes it a lot harder, but with the principles, conviction, and courage that Ron has I still think he would do everything he can much as I would!

If I had to select one as the most important individual supporter of RP I'd say Mr. Leppard.

Google brothers? Just need a bit of clarification on that one. Google "brothers" as in the search engine they created that allows for quick and easy access to everything Ron Paul or do you mean the Google guys themselves? They are distinctly far leftists. And not sure what you meant by "brothers", but the founders aren't related.

Got that out of the way. I'd probably say Ron Paul's family. Paul has talked about how Carol keeps him calm and continually striving to get his message across. She seems like quite a sweet lady too. That has got to help Paul keep going too. :D I'm sure Ron would say they are most important supporter, if maybe in different words.

George Bush Jr. gave us Obama.

The Dems could have run Charles Manson in 2008 and he would have won. Making it a younger black guy who could form somewhat coherent sentences only sealed the deal.

His constituents in Texas that continue to elect him are pretty important.

The youth of america gave us Obama:rolleyes:

What's your source on that?

Most obamaniacs I knew were baby boomers. Most the young folks were into ron paul or entirely apathetic (excusing of course the young republicans who by and large supported giglioli and rommel).

No one is the "most important" supporter.

my exact thought upon seeing the title... silly.. is one cell of the body more important than another?? its the overall collective that matters..

Obama - he is pushing more and more people to become Ron Paul supporters.

13. Tucker Carlson
14. Pat Buchanan
15. The John Birch Society
16. Gary Johnson
17. Barry Goldwater, Jr.
18. The Republican Liberty Caucus
19. Chuck Baldwin

Oddly, though, I don't think an one person or organization made a big difference. Almost all of his support came from ordinary people spreading the word about him.

No one is the "most important" supporter.

Exactly. The grassroots was the biggest supporter. And by making your statement, it is clear that you have a profound philosophical understanding of Ron Paul's message.:D

No votes for the Google Brothers? Frankly, if not for google video, the liberty movement would be two years behind its current pace.

I think it's the wording of the question. If it were "What has been the most important element ..." then you might see some votes for the Google Brothers.

I voted Google because it was the closes one to the internet. The internet has been a powerful tool for RP because of MSM corruption and bias.

The fictional millionaire RP-supporter who inspired everyone with hope through the primaries! He was going to swoop in at the last moment and save us all. Such an admirable non-person.
