Dr. Paul will be on CNN's Larry King Show tonight at 9:27 pm ET to respond to Michael Moore's interview and attack on capitalism in the shows first half. Should be terrific!

If Michael would just use the word interventionism instead of capitalism he would make a hell of alot more sense. Government interference in the free market has caused everything he is complaining about.

Moore is complaining about both unemployment AND capitalism. I wonder how he thinks there will be MORE jobs without capitalism. Maybe RP will ask him.

So far it sounds like Moore and RP have a lot in common. They both agree that what we have is not really capitalism and that the guys that screwed everything up are in charge now.

I think RP said 'we never should have gone into there' ... I think he was talking about Afghanistan.

Interesting. I think he voted reluctantly for the authorization of force (for afghanistan), but undoubtedly was dismayed by the nation building and occupation.

Anyway, unsurprisingly he said that the US should withdraw from Iraq, Afghanistan, and other countries.

I don't blame him for that vote, as I would have done the same back in 2001 given what we "knew" at the time. That being said, instead of some wishy-washy unconstitutional "authorization of force" vote Congress should have had to vote on a proper declaration of war (as the Constitution requires) against the Taliban government and it's AQ allies.

RP got a lot of time to talk. I hope people were listening and will actually look into some of the things he is talking about. Even today, after already hearing his ideas on the topics so many times for so many years, I'm still in awe that he says what he says on television. He's only gotten better at getting his points across.

Thanks for sharing the vids.

I know you were likely joking but Moore would not be converted because he is a shill for statism. His bread is buttered by being the annoying liberal. If he pushed it further and hit on some hard truths, suddenly dirt would be found on him and his career would be over.

Hopefully Moore will meditate on the difference between capitalism and corporatism. RP went easy on him by saying they had different "interpretations" of capitalism, and then went on to explain the difference.
Moore can consider himself - schOOled.

Or maybe he'd be picked up by the liberty movement. What if he came out tomorrow and said he's going to push Ron Paul for President in 2012 whether he runs or not. It's be a smart move by him i'd think. His career is at a dead end, no one is seeing his movie despite what Larry King says besides it'd be the right thing for him to do. :D

Well I'm glad that you all think he performed well. But let us be honest, when he was talking about healthcare nobody outside of these forums understood it. I know Ron's stance and I can barely understand what he's rambling about.

I thought he did better on the war, though.

He needs to slow down, finish his sentences, and better articulate himself. He's been talking about healthcare for half a year now and still can't articulate his point. He needs to take pointers from Rand. Everyone understands Rand.

With all due respect toward Dr. Paul, you're right. Paul's message is perfect, but he is a poor messenger. I think most of it is just age. When you see interviews of him from 20 years ago, he spoke much more slowly, clearly, and articulately. It must be all that wisdom he's obtained in the last 20 years. So much wisdom and so little time to spit it out.

I saw it here and then on CNN last night with the Moore interview first. When Larry King said we will have Ron Paul next, Mike Moore sniggered. Well he should go look in a MIRROR..then he would have something to SNIGGER about! Arrogant prick!

Odd how people who snigger at the Good Congressman, usually do not have a clue of the depth of his thinking ie what he REALLY means...ie the sniggerers are abysmally superficial; they hear one sentence and then all their own assumptions about what that means, kick in and VOILA! they expose their own crooked, conditioned thinking!Baaaaa
And BAH!

And Ron Paul was stunning on that piece, much more stunning than the lardass.

Michael Moore is totally discredited.. Until I see his ass donating every dime he made from this movie to whomever; he might as well join the other crooks we often refer too as our Congress.

If you think about it, this movie is hysterical. Let me earn millions of dollars as I show you all the bad people in the world that do not share their wealth. Doesn't a 2nd grader see that?

Until I see Michael Moore living in a $600. per month apartment in New York City; he is just another sleazy establishment pig.
