That was just brilliant. I think it may be a bit before Grayson tries to sling more mud. The one thing early on that I've admired about Rand is that he is amazingly sharp. Not the type of person you're going to sneak one by.

This shows that Grayson was expecting a cake walk to the nomination, and he's not at all prepared for any serious contest in the Republican primary. After all, he's the choice of the country-clubbers, so why would he imagine any different?

Trey Grayson is up against a man who's smart enough to make it through medical school and develop a successful opthalmology practice. A man who's been studying the history, philosophy, and economics of freedom since he was a small boy. A man who can run rings around everything the apparatchiks are going to throw at him. I almost feel sorry for him.
