Many of you here weren't even born. But at the time, this was one of most recognizable jingles on TV.

On the surafce, its a feel-good ad. But its real aim is to induce the viewer to have good feelings about globalism.

It took years of slick Madison Ave conditioning to bring us to the brink of world government. Don't be surprised if a good number of Americans actually welcome the final closing of the globalist deal.

I have to be honest....even though I know there is a globailist propaganda intent to the ad....it is touching.

Thats how these bastards suck people in.

I'm not so sure about this. Aren't we the group of people that believe in commerce with all? Isn't this just the free market? We can't react to the idea of a new world order so much that we start to see global commerce as a bad thing.

On another related note someone told me Coke in other countries tastes better because they use real sugar and not corn syrup. We use the syrup because of corn subsidies. Kind of disturbing that it started here and now we have the worlds worst version of it.

I think too, it might be a good to point out that globalism itself isn't such a bad thing. Or as Dr. Michio Kaku calls it a "Type 1 Civilization"

I think the world is going towards that direction and its probably a natural tendency..

However, the problem with the globalism that is being sought out now is for a little group of elites to control and manipulate the world's resources for their own benefit and for the detriment of the general populace, and that therein lies the real danger..

No doubt. They make everyone feel like they are one in the same. Most people want to feel like they are part of something to feel special.

It seemed more like a celebration of diversity to me. A world living in harmony and engaged in real free trade is something special I would like to be a part of.

Do you really think that was the intent that the Madison Ave boys had in mind when they ran that ad?

No. The idea is play on peoples emotions in order to get them to step into the global cage voluntarily. That ad had as little to do with free trade and global harmony as NAFTA, EU, or GATT.

Did anyone else notice that at the end of the commercial they were all standing in the shape of a pyramid?

Bueller.....Hiram? Anyone?

Nevermind.

Lmao now you're just looking for stuff that remotely symbolizes anything to do with a NWO. There's nothing wrong with world peace. But, coke will give you diabetes.

I'm not going to guess peoples intent other than they wanted to sell more Coke. There is nothing in this ad to suggest we should all be the same. There is nothing to suggest we should have socialism or communism as an economic system. The only thing this commercial does is project a vision of world harmony and peace which according to our argument is brought about by free trade and capitalism. Considering the fact the Coke company was a capitalist entity at the time of the ad I find it hard that anyone would have watched this and said, "yes we need world harmony and peace! And the only way we're going to get there is socialism." It would have done the opposite and reaffirmed the power of capitalism on a subliminal level. So if that was their "intent" they failed- especially with me. :)

It was a great commercial. Some people take the conspiracies a little to far.
