View Full Version : Newt Gingrich, the flimflam man: N.Y's 23rd district election

There are those who believe Newt Gingrich is brilliant and I would agree with them! From where I sit, he managed to flimflam “Republican” voters into believing the Republican Party Leadership would work to do what was best for American’s best interests, while his real loyalty has always been to further the financial interests of the Washington Establishment which is exactly what the Democrat Party Leadership has been doing in concert with the Republican Party Leadership for years!

Keep in mind Newt worked hand in hand with Clinton to get the NAFTA passed! NAFTA was panhandled by Newt Gingrich to Republican voters as being a measure to promote “free trade”. What a wonderful way to flimflam the American People. But Newt’s panhandling was an outright lie! What the NAFTA legislation was really designed to accomplish was the same thing progressives accomplished with the creation of the Federal Reserve Act of December 23, 1913, which unconstitutionally reassigned a power of Congress and placed that power in the hands of a body not elected by or accountable to the American People!

Under the Federal Reserve Act, Congress’s assigned duty to regulate the value of our nation’s money was unconstitutionally taken from the people’s elected representatives and placed in the hands of private citizens representing the Wall Street Banking Crowd ___ a crowd not elected by or accountable to the American People! Likewise, under Newt’s NAFTA, Congress’s assigned duty to regulate commerce with foreign nations was taken from the hands of the American People’s elected representatives and was placed in the hands of a group not elected by or accountable to the American People.

The NAFTA was never about “free trade” as our founding fathers understood the phrase and practiced it. Newt’s NAFTA was specifically designed to create a managed trade which is now managed by a group of individuals who are not elected by the American people, who have no allegiance to America or America’s Constitution, and is a group who represents the interests of international corporate giants, and not the best interests of America or the American People.

Under Newt’s NAFTA the regulation of America’s trade in now in the hands of “Binational Panels” a majority of whom are foreigners, and make arbitrarily and binding decisions concerning America’s commerce with Canada and Mexico see Establishment of Binational Panels (http://www.sice.oas.org/trade/nafta/chap-192.asp#An1901.2)

Newt Gingrich is in fact a wolf in sheep’s clothing and a traitor to the oath of office he took to support and defend “this Constitution”, and yet, he is welcomed with open arms by the Republican Party leadership?

And let us not forget that Newt was also behind the fraudulent Balanced Budget Constitutional Amendment of the 1980’s and 90’s which was specifically designed to avoid our founder’s intended method to extinguish deficits. Newt’s balanced budget amendment was to make it constitutional for Congress to not balance the budget!

It was also very charming to see Nancy Pelosy and Newt Gingrich embracing each other over global warming, especially when one understands the despotic motives behind the global warming nonsense spread on a daily basis. See: YouTube - Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich Commercial on Climate Change (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi6n_-wB154)

And now, Newt Gingrich gives his support to Dede Scozzafava in New York’s 23rd district special election when Scozzafava is a flaming progressive and is in harmony with almost everything which is revered and relished by our un-American progressive crowd! Question is, will the Republican Party Leadership, Michael Steele, fail to call out Newt on his choice, and then get behind the New York candidate who really represents the asserted views of the Republican Party Leadership? As I see it, this is a defining moment for the Leadership of the Republican Party!

BTW, thank you Sarah Palin for having the moral strength to support Doug Hoffman who appears to hold dear those principles which guided our founding fathers during the founding of our Nation.

America, we have a problem, we have been attacked from within! We are being destroyed from within by a group of domestic enemies who have managed to seize political power and whose mission is in fact to bring “change” to America ___ the dismantling of our military defensive power; the allowance of our borders to be overrun by foreign invaders, the destruction of our manufacturing capabilities; the strangulation of our agricultural industry and ability to produce food under the guise of environmental necessity; the looting of our federal treasury; the brainwashing of our nation’s children in government operated schools; the creation of an iron fisted control unauthorized by our written Constitution over free enterprise; the devaluation of our nation’s currency, and, the future enslavement of our children and grand children via unbridled debt and inflation, not to mention an iron fisted federal government which intends to rule their lives!

also, when the unconstitutional, controversial bill to set up a communistic Dept of Education was passed in 1977, it passed in the House by only 4 votes...

many democrats went against their own President (Jimmy Carter) and opposed it. If only a few RINO's had voted with the majority of the other republicans, it would have never passed.

Freshman Newt Gingrich voted with Carter to establish what is now a muliti-billion dollar child brainwashing monstrosity!

You are so very right! SEE:

Why this traitorous piece of human waste keeps appearing on FOX, and especially on Hannity, is beyond my reasoning.

If we can make 51 percent of America’s population dependent upon the federal government for its subsistence, (Obamacare) we can then bribe them for their vote, keep ourselves in power and keep the remaining portion of America’s productive population enslaved to pay the bills ____ Our Washington Establishment’s Marxist game plan, a plan to establish a federal plantation and redistribute the bread which labor and business has earned.

Newt's solution is to elect Republicans. That way we could reduce Obama's 1.5 Trillion dollar deficits to only 1 trillion dollar deficits.

Brilliant

I like your response! Aside from that, Newt‘s job seems to be building bridges to new and fertile fields within the Republican party’s rebellious voting base, where he then works to guide them down a path which holds them in check and neuters them. Keep in mind he was out front trying to co-opt the tea party movement!

Newt Gingrich is a traitor to the oath of office he took and a domestic enemy of our written Constitution and the documented intentions and beliefs under which it was adopted. His voting record and support of various issues are evidence to this fact.

He did a masterful job of reigning in / nuetering the scores of young conservative bucks that were swept into office in the 1994 anti-Clinton backlash.

I'll never forget Clinton's 1995 State of the Union speech. These newly inaugurated and ballsy conservatives would interupt, boo, and even laugh whenever Clinton said bullshit.

But Gingrich (seated behind Clinton as Speaker)....would motion his hand for them to calm down. At one point, he even put his finger to his lips as if to say "Shhhh."

I knew right then and there that he was going to nueter down the young conservatives....and he did.

Some quit in frustration...some were left hung out to dry in their reelection campaigns....and some sold out. That was the end of 1994 "Revolution."

Now, how do we counter Newt’s traitorous support for a progressive and work to help get Doug Hoffman elected?

We are here today and gone tomorrow, but what is most important is what we do in between, and is what our children will inherit and remember us by.

Well Sarah Palin, Levin, Beck, etc.. have already given their support to Hoffman. So I'm sure the Newt endorsement will be overlooked.

I don't know much about Hoffman, but the fact that these three neocon shills support him is telling.

Not someone we want to support- let them sap their strength fighting each other, we should save our resources to support real fiscal conservatives (and being pro-stupid-war ain't "fiscally conservative").

I am hearing from GOP donors all over the country that they will stop giving money to Newt. The GOP is in a bind supporting their GOP candidate which was chosen at the local level. It would be hard for the GOP to support another party's ticket and candidate.

But Newt is a private citizen who has no obligation to support the GOP candidate.

Here is what I believe may be some good news! Doug Hoffman, running for New York’s 23rd district, is leading in a new poll (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/politics_nation/2009/10/ny-23_hoffman_leads_new_poll.html)!

Keep in mind that the leadership of both political parties, leaderships which act in concert with each other to swell the power of the Washington Establishment, has gotten us to where we are today by always allowing the people [that’s you and me] to have a choice in who we vote for. But strangely enough the choice seems to always exclude those who will be obedient to our written Constitution and the documented intentions and beliefs under which it was adopted.

If tea party participants keep their focus on supporting those who in turn will be obedient to our constitutionally limited system of government, and will especially be obedient to the separation of powers written into our Constitution intended to preserve a dual system of government know as federalism, I suspect they will make surprising gains during the coming elections because our Constitution is what We the People have agreed to, which is far different than the legislative acts of a Congress who has been acting in rebellion to our written Constitution.

If Doug Hoffman is sincere about being obedient to our written Constitution, you can bet your bottom dollar the party leaderships will work to undermine his election. There is big money to be had in big government, but the money had must first be picked from the pockets of America’s domestic businesses and laboring class people.

Tea Party Participants, keep up the good work! Do not let the establishment tyrants delude you!

JWK

Those who reject abiding by the intentions and beliefs under which our Constitution was agree to, as those intentions and beliefs may be documented from historical records, wish to remove the anchor and rudder of our constitutional system so they may then be free to “interpret” the Constitution to mean whatever they wish it to mean.

Wow! Did anyone in the thread hear Newt’s reason for supporting the flaming progressive Republican? Newt alleges that he is a supporter of the Tenth Amendment and as such, Pawlenty, Palin and all others who do not live in New York and do not understand New York’s upstate politics, ought to keep their noses out of the election.

Well surprise surprise Newt. Seems the THE LATEST POLL (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/politics_nation/2009/10/ny-23_hoffman_leads_new_poll.html) agrees with Pawlenty and Palin‘s decision to support Hoffman, not to mention the Club for Growth‘s support for Hoffman!

The truth is, Newt old boy, the two party leadership gang in New York has co-opted the election process and determines who gets nominated to the exclusion of the people’s voice living in Upstate New York, and the people windup getting a Hobson’s Choice in who they may vote for which seems to always be a puppet of the Washington Establishment.

You might be able to flimflam people on tv with your snake oil salesmanship of party loyalty, but you can’t pull that crap on someone who is not only a New Yorker, but grew up in the midst of con artists. I see tonight you have added the fear factor to your con game as a last resort to get one of the Establishment’s nominees elected. You said, while on The Record:

If this third party candidate takes away just enough votes to elect the democrat, then we will have strengthened Nancy Pelosy by the divisiveness. We will not have strengthened the conservative movement.

First of all, get rid of the “we” Newt. You are not with “we” who support and defend our constitutionally limited system of government as a priority!

Take my advice and go away Newt. You keep putting your old foot in your own mouth and contradict yourself. You are beginning to look pathetic. If you supported the Tenth Amendment as you now suggest you do, and rally the cause of the Tenth Amendment to keep out-of-state influences out of the N.Y. State race, you wouldn’t have worked in favor of federalizing public school systems established under state constitutions with the creation of federal Department of Education. Did you forget how you helped to usher in a Marxist takeover of the various State public school systems?

Seems to me the Tenth Amendment forbids the federal government from taxing for, spending on and regulating public school systems established under state Constitutions. If not, Mr. Gingrich, perhaps you would enlighten us to the escape clause in the Tenth Amendment allowing Congress to exercise such power.

As I have been saying for years, Newt Gingrich is a con artist and a Washington Establishment insider working hand in hand with the Democrat Party Leadership to keep the Washington Establishment in power. But this time he made a big mistake attacking Paul Ryan! SEE: Newt Gingrich slams Paul Ryan's plan to overhaul Medicare (http://articles.latimes.com/2011/may/15/news/la-pn-gingrich-ryan-medicare-20110515)

Presidential contender Newt Gingrich took a potshot Sunday at Republican House Budget Chairman Paul D. Ryan’s proposal to reform Medicare, becoming the most prominent Republican to distance himself from the plan.
