It's a bill about the coast guard - increased their size, tougher penalties for illegal aliens, changed fishing rules, allows self defence against pirates without penalty, etc.
11 critters voted against it, only one was a dem. wondering if Paul was one of the repubs...
watching this vote, what got me thinking was the bill number... 3619. Lets say each bill was only a page long - when was the last time you read a 3,619 page book? That's allmost 10 pages a day IF each bill was a single page and you read 365 days a year. Some of these bills are the size of phone books.
What I'm getting at here is that I think it would be physically impossible for a person to read every bill before Congress. How can we get them to SLOW DOWN!????
