Hi Everyone,
I believe that the best government is the most locally controlled. We need to shift the balance of power back to the states and local governments as part of the restoration of constitutional government in this country. WisconsinRepublic.org (http://www.wisconsinrepublic.org) serves as a place to quickly educate people about the issues and to explore how we can return to locally controlled, accountable government. Hopefully we can do this within the existing framework since the states are (theoretically) already free and independent. But if we are not successful in stopping the advancing tyranny at the federal level with C4L and related groups we will have to use the states as lifeboats to attempt to preserve our freedom. In the past, states threatened to secede as a way to check federal power, and we certainly need to use every tool to check federal power that we can find. As dedicated freedom loving individuals I would appreciate your feedback on the site and I hope you can find something useful in its pages. I am specifically focusing on Wisconsin since that’s where I’m from but I think we need to make this case for every state. Feel free to email director@wisconsinrepublic.org or post comments here.
