After seeing several posts about getting a website together for the December 16th Moneybomb, I thought it was time for someone to get the ball rolling.
I have reserved the domain http://randpaulsteaparty.com (an homage to ronpaulsteaparty.com, where the $6 million moneybomb was hatched).
Please remember that December 16th is the Anniversary of the original Boston Tea Party, where patriots staged the first Tax Protest that sped us on the road to becoming a nation.
I'm calling for 10,000 pledges of $100, or a one day total of $1 million. It is a heady goal to reach for, whether we are able to make it or not.
Presently, the domain forwards to the Rand Paul online community. I've modified the main page for the Moneybomb.
- visitors can RSVP for the Moneybomb after joining.
- I've also created a 'Tea Party Moneybomb' group that everyone can use to organize and spread the word. Forum posts, comments, automatic invites, all are supported.
- I will customize and add elements to support the community -- just contact me on the site.
I'm sure there will be other websites and efforts to promote the Moneybomb -- just wanted to get the ball rolling.
Let's make this Moneybomb something that shakes the political world (again)! We can give Rand another solid $1 million quarter, and show the Republican estabilshment that they can't compete with the r3volution for fundraising!
