Does Ron Paul accept any special interest money during his campaigns? If not, is there proof that he doesnt.
I didnt think he did, and trust he doesnt, but on another board full of partisan hacks, they are looking for proof that he doesnt accept special interest money.

Can anyone help me out finding a source to prove this?

Are American Citizens seeking a Constitutional Government considered a "special interest"?

Why would it matter who he accepted money from? His votes and speeches are what matters. Don't play into their game.

Ha, no, more like big banks, big oil, etc. You know, the main culprits.

I'm sure some people that are employed by big banks and oil companies donated to him. Something like 100,000 people donated to him when he ran for president.

Ron Paul doesn't refuse any donations.

I wouldn't either.

http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/summary.php?cycle=2008&type=I&cid=N00005906&newMem=N

or just go to http://www.opensecrets.org/ and type in Ron Paul in their search field, click the 'person' radio button, and it should take you to Ron's name as a link to the above page.

BTW -- biggest categories on the page for donations to RP == US MILITARY PERSONNEL!!!!! :D

Well then NO.
Most of his money was raised right here. You know, the basement dwelling internet spammers.
Otherwise known as "Concerned Citizens".

I suppose you could point them to FEC reports but it is pretty much impossible to prove a negative.
