I saw this, thought about posting it. They are just getting the idea out there and believed before they invade even more countries for the reason of "good".

So,
We can expect our Navy to be a part of the UN enforcement arm. :(

Yes "Good" that is quite the catch isn't it? Who defines what "good" is? Basically it means we do whatever the hell we want because we want.

Hey Sevin!

Just a little modification would serve accuracy:

"A Global Force For Global Force."

Here the Navy times talks about it too:

Yep, I noticed this a few weeks back myself. Funny how after being in the Freedom movement for a few years, makes one more perceptive to the smallest of details.

 Definately a ubiquitous statement. Fairly nauseating as it implies a dedication to a global agenda rather than a national one.

When I first saw this commerical I laughed at the phrase "for good."

This just reaffirms my belief that the Japanese Self Defense Navy is far superior to our own Navy.

According to one of the YouTube comments, this is not an ad for the Japanese Navy. It's from a TV show.

Who came up with that slogan? 'cause that will be a member of the super secret inner-party of special people who love world government and helping kittens.

A Global Force for GOODS is more appropriate.

To be fair what are they going to say for "Evil". Its just a recruitment ad for the sheeple to join the navy.

I think they mean "America's Navy - A Global Force, For Good" as in a permanent Global Force.

;) :p :(

They weren't forced to choose either/or. They chose the word Good over many other options and slogans.

By the same token, they weren't forced to choose between American or Global, but they did choose Global anyway.

Will they be repainting or re-flagging the ships?

I saw that propaganda / recruitment piece on the tube in passing.

Josh's statement was the first thought through my mind.

Does that mean we'll be policing the world’s waterways forever?
or
For the "Good" of some global collective?
or
For "Good" as defined by pop culture or some dictionary shifting politician? (bad is good, 5 is four, etc.)

One disturbing commercial.

How much would the chinese or japanese pay for a fully equipped Nimitz class carrier? Clearly we have some surplus inventory.

WHY would we want their money when we can just continue to print more of our own and piss them off?

I mean...what are they going to DO about it besides stop buying our bonds and whine?

I heard something similar while questioning a local guy who is running for congress...just recently.
I asked him how we intend to pay for defending ourselves if they decided to come collect the debt,

he had no answer.
I had a good laugh.
