Just shrug. Great idea.

just ignore the state all at once... no taxes, etc

A tax strike would get a hell of a lot more attention than a labor strike. That would be when the state breaks out the big guns-- literally.

is simply to cash out your bank accounts for 1 month or so. Cash, not a check, and do not redeposit it here.

the dollar's strength stands on our nation's weak political will alone.

the chinese know we're spineless, so do the saudis.

Good idea, but protect yourself and put some of it into hard gold/silver; do your part to help gut that fractional reserve ponzi scheme.

i say, commence the federal reserve strike! Dump your dollars and sink the american empire!

Just be sure that you dump them here:

A general strike is a formidable weapon to be considersd. Those who would not consider this course of peaceful resistance prior to taking up arms are too weak in spirit to accomplish the latter.

again, i don't see how punishing ourselves economically can be effective. Vote with your dollar! So yes, strike... pick up your bags and set up your business outside their tax sphere

In a future scenario, your first concern should not be your wallet. It should freedom and liberty.

It's happening already -- other countries are dumping the US Dollar, and more will follow.

if your wallet is gold, IT is freedom and liberty. The state collapses the day it can no longer steal. Again, throwing away your wealth and expecting everyone else to follow will just ever solidify your helplessness against the state

Thanks for the financial advice, I'm light years ahead of you... It's putting yourself out there and confronting the oppressors. Without our compliance they are nothing. Empower yourself.

The guy who said "tax revolt" had the right idea. As much as is practical, stop paying taxes.

Also, switch to gold or silver instead of Federal Reserve Points.

how is ceasing commerce standing up to the state?

I definitely have no intention of throwing away my wealth. I have worked hard to solidify my financial position... I do however like the idea of a general strike (as a last resort before tyranny) to force the elitists and politicians to bend to our will. They have power because we allow them. People need to realize this.

I'm going strictly voluntary. Pretty much there as it is,
but -if we do have to strike- the last thing i'm looking
for is currency or anything heavy.

but i know where to get food other than the supermarket
and know friendly plants when i see them, so i don't have
to worry about illness really....

pretty much got it covered.

i hear gold's alright smoothered in gravy though

Jury nullification....

Refuse to convict non-violent offenses.

Imagine a nation wide movement where the government cannot get a conviction against tax protestors, drug offenses etc...

They would be at a loss
