These ideas are prefaced by my belief that a person not officially a part of a campaign can buy political print, t.v., or radio ads. Correct me If I'm wrong on that. I know fund-raising can be legally tricky. Really, though, after we got a blimp in the air nothing phases me.

First, I have noticed that many blogs and forums have a Shop at Amazon link. I assume they are a part of the affiliate program. (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/astore/main.htm) Lew Rockwell has it. It pays a percentage for all purchases made. Set up a trusted forum member as treasurer (not me) and take the proceeds toward a future ad buy near primary time. We can all do our online shopping through the RPF store.

The second is to have an ehow (http://www.ehow.com/)account that we can all log in to and post how-to articles. If we can abstain from click fraud, ehow will slowly but surely pay the account via paypal for our page views and clicks.

What do you guys think about this, particularly the amazon store?

i've just seen Michael Nystrom do that over at dailypaul.com in support for upgrading his website with good success. the amazon.com idea makes sense.

On the amazon front, does anyone like the idea of a RPF secret santa? As in voluntary sign up to be on the list. You get an e-mail telling the mailing address of an anonymous poster. Everybody gives and receives a $20 to $30 item through the store. The affiliate proceeds go to a to be determined cause.

I don't know how much money it would make but I like the idea of it.
