During an interview with Sarah Bernhart.

I edited this down to a 26 second clip from a longer video that was on the LRC blog.

So we should be banging on Letterman's door to get him to have Dr. Paul on again.

I always love these archival nuggets from '88!!!

They mentioned having listened to a Presidential debate. Am I to understand that Ron took on Bush and Dukakis on an actual, televised forum?

I'll bet he killed!

Wow! I'm not sure if I'm more surprised that Letterman had a full head of hair or that he endorsed Ron Paul!

I hope he votes for him this time around.

if twenty years ago he was voting for him, and Ron has not significantly changed, then why can't we get him to get the good Dr. on the show?

Ron Paul may not have changed, but you can bet your booties that Letterman has. He may still have Libertarian leanings, but he's Hollywood Big Kool Aid swimming Fish now. He won't stick his neck out and be possibly controversial.

9/11?

9/11...that did enter my head, however, I think he is still unchanged. David Letterman gave O'reilly a good bashing here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WacUxwGY-wo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWO5ub-c6R8

Letterman makes awesome points throughout all of it. He believes in a humble foreign policy. Letterman also forces O'Reilly to answer questions and even interupts O'Reilly...basically giving O'Reilly a good taste of his own medicine and it pisses O'Reilly off! http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/violent095.gif

So he isn't some pro-war neocon. That leaves him open to being a libertarian, true conservative...or converted to liberalism (I hope not and dont think so).

Wow, it's kind of creepy to hear O'Reilly exclaim "It's just an act," while explaining the animosity between Dave and himself away. And the audience just laughs like Bill O's a jokester...

Letterman absolutely owned O'Reilly, he showed how absurd the whole thing is and also got O'Reilly to admit it is all about oil

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmNvIKrfqYc

O'Reily at the 6min mark even said: "you're show is not going to be on air"

People still question whether MSM is controlled.

Of course it is because it is the propaganda wing of the corporate controlled government.

Why do I get the feeling that the whole thing was a joke? The audience laughed as if nobody ever votes Libertarian.

The audience must have been a small one, because the laugh was weak.

Wow Letterman actually said in pt 2 our involvement in Iraq was because of failed policy. And later ask Bill why we don't go after Korea because they had WMD.:)

According to one of the comments on the youtube, "Letterman has already endorsed Kucinich."

I don't know if it's true or not.

That doesn't mean that Letterman can't have Ron on his show.

Couldn't find anything about that through a Google search.
