Steele wants a 'Rodney King moment'

Can't we all just get along? That's apparently what RNC chairman Michael Steele is hoping for as he stresses the need for bipartisanship in the healthcare debate.

But he chose some odd words.

"I'm not trying to be an obstructionist here," Steele said on Fox News on Wednesday morning. "To the contrary, I'm saying, can we all get in a room and have a Rodney King moment and work toward

That's a racist comment. Steele is obviously espousing racist philosophy. A "rodney king moment", wtf?

Bizarre analogy at best...Folks in government live in a sick little world that this would be a choice for comparison.

I'm disappointed. I thought he chairman Steele was looking for evidence of police brutality against Obama opponents. If that were the case then here's a good Rodney King moment. And the guy getting beat up is black.

Or how about this Rodney King moment of two white students in Pittsburg getting beat up by SWAT team goons during the G20 summit? It doesn't even look like they were even protesting.

Watch the whole video, but I have the link going to the part I'm talking about.

If Steele wants a Rodney King moment, I think there are plenty of people out there who will gladly beat him down in the street.

I thought the "Rodney King Moment" was when the cops beat his ass. Steele needs to be careful in what he is asking for.
