I was run out of business as a commercial fisherman over 20 years ago due to regulations that largely were put in place or supported by the sport fishing community.

I tried to make them understand that they were being played for fools, that within a generation the same restrictive legislation, codes or policies, would beach them as well.

I'm sure you can imagine what kind of response I received.

So once again, the "there ought to be law" crowd gets bit on it's own ass.

My first, visceral response to this is, "ha-ha, enjoy the shafting you miserable pricks, hope you never fucking catch another fish again".

But, not unlike having wayward children, I know my conscience will make me take a stand for freedom and do what I can to prevent this.
