ask him to sponsor a debate between his guy Romney and Dr. Paul, be respectful even though the ignorance below is blinding.

in the comments section of the Union Leader piece on Ron Paul is this semi-literate comment by Bob Letourneau, who does not identify himself as the New Hampshire state senator who has endorsed that great champion of liberty and leader of men, Mitt Romney:

"Michael [another commenter] has it correct. this man would create chaos. Basically he is using the republican party as his spring board. Then he tries to bring together anti war folks with anti tax folks with anti government folks, have I left anyone out? No one like war, everyone hates taxes, but reasonable people know that sometimes you have to defend your country and some how you have to pay for government services that just about everyone demands. And governments first responsibility is police and fire proctection, support your first responders. Do you remember 9-11? these folks gave their very lives for the proctection of our citizens, good grief! There are other candidates in this race that have a reasonable approch to government pick one of them and move forward..."

I think the newspaper now pulled his rambling from the comment section. The same newspaper that refuses to cover Ron Paul events lets a state Senator pull his incoherent comments. We cannot allow these fabrications to go unchallenged. Of course being nice and having facts is always preferrable.

First off, ANYONE could have posted the comment in Senator Bob's name. I do not think anyone has confirmed if he actuality posted it.

If you go to http://nhliberty.org/ and select the "2007 Senate Liberty Rating" you will see that Senator Bob received an A by the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance.
What does this mean? From the web site...
"The Liberty Rating is based on pro-liberty and anti-liberty votes and their impact on the state of New Hampshire.

Pro-liberty votes protect individual freedom of choice and personal responsibility, recognize the superiority of freedom over coercion, respect the citizen's right of self-ownership, promote good government, and recognize the value of voluntary economic decisions."

He has done good work for the sake of liberty in our state.
Anyone could have posted the comment on the Union Leader; there is no proof it was from Senator Bob.

And now I think its pulled, who asked that it be pulled? If he really believes in that Liberty stuff, lord only knows why he supports Romney? Heck, lets have the debate. The union leader and many pols there are simply ignoring the obvious. They put McCain on constantly with 2 people showing up to hear him. Its media bias. If Bob did not print the comment then the Union Leader should say so because it sure was ignorant.

It was probably pulled because someone at the paper realized a person made a comment using the name of a local political figure and doesn't allow it's comments to involve impersonating people, which is obviously what happened.
