Senate Conservatives Fund
Dear Friend:

On Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 8:30 PM (EST), conservatives from across the country will come together for a national conference call to discuss strategy for the 2010 Senate elections. I will lead the discussion along with my friend Erick Erickson, the editor of RedState.com. I hope you will join us.

This will be an opportunity for you to hear which candidates are the true conservatives, ask questions about specific races, and learn what actions you can take to defeat the liberal politicians who are destroying our country.

We will also be conducting instant polls that allow you to vote for the candidates you like best using your telephone. And at the end of the call I will announce at least one major Senate Conservatives Fund endorsement for the 2010 Senate elections.

This event will launch the formation of a committed conservative community that will work together to win several critical Senate races. It will mark the beginning of a year-long movement to take back our country.

Americans are waking up and conservatives are on the march. It started with tea parties, it grew into town halls, and then we marched on Washington. Now it's time to consolidate our efforts, target our resources, and replace the failed leadership in Washington.

Please register today and spread the word as far as you can. The more people we have on the call, the bigger the impact we will have. Thank you for you standing strong for freedom. I look forward to talking to you soon.

Yours truly,

Jim DeMint Signature

I hope it works. But I'm skeptical that joining this conference call will help Rand get the endorsement. This conference call is for the PAC to get you to support it, not for a bunch of people who have never given it any money to have a say over which candidates it supports (though they're happy to use that angle to get their foot in the door with you as a potential contributor to them). If you do join the call, don't expect to be able to say anything during it. The endorsement he's going to announce will be one that the board of the PAC has already chosen and have nothing to do with anything any noncontributors say during the call. Nor will they consider themselves in any way bound to use the results of the polls taken during the call to decide whom they endorse.

I don't think this is the right approach. They already have indicated they are looking at the race and will decide on a candidate. They aren't looking for suggestions on this call.

I would support this PAC if they supported Rand. While I do not agree with everything these Senators say, their endorsements would mean a lot to the uninformed voters, you know the people we need to win.....

Here Eric from Redstate saying on 9/15 he likes Rand Paul and could be supporting him. http://www.redstate.com/erick/2009/09/15/links-for-2009-09-15/

Here is the direct link explaining the Online phone conference page being held by DeMint and Eric from RedState.

If their is lots of supporters from a candidate that attend I am sure it would not hurt.

I think Ron needs to hint to his buddy DeMint about Ron's son.

If Redstate.com endorses Rand WE WILL WIN. Because if you honestly look at race, you would think Rand is running as independent or libertarain.

Not that I go to the site or even like it, but he is in need of some establishment types. They do take stances counter to party, along with Demint. Will be interesting for sure.

$500 bucks will get you and ad on Redstate.com

I may call in and note that if Rand is endorsed, I will donate to their PAC. I might even donate before hand just to give myself some more credibility. A small $25 investment from 10-15 people on this board might just help them out...

Anyone wanna do a super-mini-money-bomb to convince them to endorse Rand? It would almost be better to send out checks with "Rand Paul for US Senate" in the memo box. :D

A DeMint and RedState Endorsement would be a big thing. And after the last quarter numbers are released I am sure Greyson could very well see his fundraising dry up. Those two things back to back could be a good combo.

You can also recommend Rand on this page. They ask for feedback, and have a little info on all the races:
