Let's be real here. I know plenty of people that take flu vaccines. My grandparents on one side are 90 years old and have been taking it once a year for decades, as well as all their friends and they are perfectly fine.

You don't want to take the vaccine don't take it. I personally don't because I;m young and healthy and I'm rarely sick and if I get the flu for a week I'll deal with it and not worry about it too much.

But the fear mongering is a bit over the top.

Consider a very large part of the population that isn't ready to hear that the FDA, CDC, etc, etc, does not always look out for their best interests. I can picture many responding to this type of approach and will look at the information and decide for themselves which they should. You or I would say "That stuff is poison! Don't go near it." And they will think we are whackos and do not want to hear it.

I can't agree. Many may just conclude there's "nothing that important" here if she's so unruffled, mild-mannered.

I don't mean to sound so harsh, but it troubles me that someone listening to her may be misled enough to take the toxic stuff, and suffer tragic consequences as a result.
