(4.20pm) Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said that he hopes for his country to ratify the treaty 'very quickly' lest Poland be seen to be slowing it down after Ireland's Yes vote.

Well done. ANOTHER ostensibly proud and free people trades liberty for please-don't-hurt-us safety.

Slainte . . . yeah, right.

The EU and the central bankers are using economic warfare to blackmail the people of Europe into the EU

Ireland has been particularly bady savaged by the engineered economic collapse

Iceland, which was, per capita, the wealthiest nation on the planet 15 years ago, has been utterly destroyed. Their economy has been decimated. There are formerly prosperous middle class people in well paid jobs living in their cars. Their jobs, homes, savings and pensions are all gone.

Now, they too are being bribed to accept EU membership and adoption of the Euro

Only 3 countries are left to ratify the Lisbon Treaty, Germany, Poland and Czechoslovakia. Germany and Poland will almost certainly go ahead. The Czech president is being more obstinate

No doubt, in the vernacular of the Corleone or the Gambino family, 'We'll make him an offer he can't refuse' and if that fails, they'll just kill him

That's how the EU works

They don't take NO! for an answer

And then there is the UK

By the time we get the chance to kick New Labour out of office in 2010, the remaining countries will have ratified the Lisbon Treaty. The UK parliament has gone ahead and ratified the Lisbon treaty without giving the British people a referendum. We have been sold out by all sides of our political elite.

This is Treachery on a truly breathtaking scale.

America is THE LAST REFUGE AGAINST TYRANNY

So don't let us down folks!

_MindOfMo IRELAND ACCEPTS LISBON TREATY. Another ostensibly proud and free people trade Liberty for we-are-afraid-please-don't-hurt-us Security.

_MindOfMo FROM THIS SIDE OF THE ATLANTIC, WHERE THE MAJOR MACHINATORS RESIDE, IT LOOKS LIKE ADVERTISING-READ-THAT-BIG-MONEY INFLUENCED THE IRISH VOTE.

_MindOfMo It would be hilarious if the Irish LISBON NO votes demand a third referendum, like the YES votes contrived for a second. Equality, ay what?

Its simple, the EU keeps having votes until the people get it "right". Then you don't need to have votes anymore.

The tile of this thread is wrong. The rules change in 2010. From than on Ireland pays into the EU. The EU provided funds to Ireland Yes. But as part of membership we gave up control of our greatest assets our fishing industry which has cost us many billions, far more than what the EU invested in Ireland.

The EU and its central bank (Rothschild owned like the Fed) maintained artificially low interest rates in Ireland which has now destroyed our economy. So on many many levels the title of this thread is grossly misleading.

I thought the Irish people voted on this at their polling stations?

If the people are against this... how did they BRIBE the IRISH? With Whiskey... Guinness?

I would like to see details... on all of it.

concessions and threats.......
remember, a threat is just a bribe backed by some kind of force......

PART 1

http://info-wars.org/2009/07/15/ukip-threatens-action-over-irish-concessions-on-lisbon-treaty/

UKIP threatens action over Irish concessions on Lisbon treaty

The UK Independence Party is considering mounting a challenge to the legal guarantees won by Ireland over the stalled Lisbon treaty.

Irish premier Brian Cowen won the guarantees from his EU partners last month to address concerns of voters who last June opposed the treaty, designed to streamline EU decision-making and give the 27-nation EU a greater say in world affairs.

But UKIP questions whether the guarantees on issues such as Ireland’s military neutrality and abortion are legally binding.

PART 2

Irish Threatened With ‘Disastrous Consequences’ Over Rejection of Lisbon Treaty *

It would seem Brussels has had it with Ireland’s intransigence over the Lisbon Treaty and “European integration,” that is to say creating a European superstate.

According to the German Foreign Policy website, Elmar Brok, described as an influential German Christian Democratic Union member of the European Parliament, has threatened Dublin with “disastrous consequences” if the Irish leadership refuses to impose yet another referendum on the Irish people, who rejected the treaty in June, even though they were “threatened, cajoled, blackmailed and bullied” to accept by Ireland’s elite, as the Telegraph put it.

Specifically, Ireland faces sanctions, including the prospect of renouncing its EU commissioner.

Vakas Klaus (a libertarian) is blocking the aproval in his country, and he thinks he can block it for some months, until the UK elections. The most probable winner its the conservative Cameron who have said repeteadly that he is going to take england out and have the country vote on it, so that its going to stop it a bit more. Or maybe they will just leave England out.

At which point, the logical and intelligent and ballsy outcry from Ireland and whoever HAS balls would be, "We'll have what the UK is having."

Blair Set to be Leadership of Europe 'New World Order' Scheme
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=213032

Tony Blair is set to be made the first President of Europe in weeks, The Sun can reveal.

He will be nominated by EU leaders in Brussels if, as expected, Ireland backs the hated Lisbon Treaty in tomorrow's referendum.

A senior Government source said: "If we get a 'Yes' vote it will all move very, very quickly. Tony could be named by the end of October."

The leaders of the EU's 27 nations, not the voters, will choose the president.

Irish and Poles cave in.
Czechs touted as the only obstacle now and only one of them - their Parliament already approved it.
Note the implied threat at the end of this excerpt. (make 'em an offer they can't refuse....)

Czech president last obstacle for EU reform treaty

The Irish finally said yes, and the Poles did Saturday, but the EU reform treaty still has a huge hurdle to clear. A "no" from the lone holdout -- Czech President Vaclav Klaus -- could cripple plans to transform Europe into a global player.

....

However, speculation runs high he may try to hold off on his blessing until British elections next year -- which the famously Euro-skeptic Conservatives are expected to win easily.

That could prove fatal for the treaty: The Tories have pledged a referendum on the charter if it has not been ratified by the time they are elected. With the British traditionally aloof -- if not downright hostile -- toward continental Europe, they would be expected to vote no.

...

"In the end, President Klaus will sign the treaty," said European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso last week, while French President Nicolas Sarkozy warned of unspecified "consequences" for the Czech Republic if Klaus continues to withhold his signature.

Btw, Cameron, the UK conservative party leader and most probable the next UK president, has back up, and now it wont do a referendum.

So now its only Vackas Klaus and he wont be able to be there forever. Its all lost. The Lisbon Treaty will go on.

The little cowards in the EU won't back referendums in every country. They told Ireland to "re-vote".

Let's just hope after the next election UKIP gets a couple seats and the Conservatives listen to calling a referendum.
