That's a very interesting chart. Although I can't figure out how to see volume, it has the characteristic cup-and-handle shape that precedes many classic breakouts.

Speaking of market patterns. I am a subscriber to Robert McHughs market newsletter on technicalindicatorindex.com. I had emailed him about Dr. Paul saying that based on his comments about the fed and hard money that I bet he was a Paul supporter and asked him to say a few words about him in his weekend newsletter. McHugh put in a few paragraphs yesterday. I was happy to see that. There are a lot of people out there who don't want to seem political who are quietly following our campaign. Robert McHugh is one of the best in the business for stock, bond and precious metals mrkt analysis in my opinion.

I agree and think the market is preparing for Q3 numbers in a bullish way. The crack-o-meter is doing its job.

I highly recommend Adam Hamilton at Zealllc.com (http://www.zealllc.com). His article on Gold and the Information Age (http://zealllc.com/2002/digigold.htm) is very visionary.

Well, the difference is that the dollar was off highs. Cup-and-handles usually break out on stocks reaching new highs.

I said inverse C&H.

It's encouraging, but look at the calls - they are all quantity of 10 (except one of 20) from 5.8 - 7.0. Looks to me like shilling.

I've got about 1200 shares though, so I'm happy either way. Still would like to get more in though. Just not at this level.

Thanks for the links. Wonder if any of the other candidates are showing inverse cup and handles!

I said inverse C&H.

Ooooh, I see, the chart gets read backwards...I thought originally that you were demonstrating a cup-and-handle collapsing instead of breaking out.
