View Full Version : "For Liberty" screened a few blocks away from Ron Paul's highschool ?!?

If you want to see this happen...help me out!

The Hollywood Theater in Pittsburgh, PA (Dormont) has agreed to let us screen "For Liberty" on a Monday evening in November but I need to get enough money together to take the leap and reserve the date. Ron Paul went to high school on Hillsdale Ave just a few blocks from the theater and grew up about 8 minutes away in Greentree, PA. The theater is a beautifully restored art deco one screen theater and there's a good chance we can recruit some locals to watch and see the r3volution message if we get it on the screen.

I would love to front the full amount and bring this to Pittsburgh myself but have a new baby and 2 kids with birthdays this fall so I can't.

We had a screening in our hometown last night with friends/family. Went great, everyone very happy. Did a Q&A afterwards....funny to have family asking us all these questions, treating us like famous filmmakers LOL.

Thanks! I really think we can pull this off in Pittsburgh. I would love to experience seeing it watched by an audience. Unfortunately the Ron Paul people around here are a bit scattered right now and it sounds like a lot of people are hiding from the email that they had all their "freedom" stuff coming to. :-)

bump. Folks, this is a good way to get the word out that we don't need to be organized and controlled. RP grassroots did something no other candidate or campaign can claim. It was truly historical.

Just a note, had the "screening" Sat night with the gang..............Were impressed but more importantly shocked that they knew nothing of the campaign happenings. Why was there no mention in any media :-((...... ....If the repubs had only taken a part of what RP said and used as a platform we wouldn't be in this mess............ we had no idea all this was happening. They are all mad at FOX and are writing them today, both Beck and Hannity. ...wanted to know when did Fox want to see the video and then not respond...........All in all it was a great night for me I get tired of them complaining about Obama and thinking they are proactive, .......When did they last sign a petition??? ... have you heard of the Federal Reserve???? ...
Won't ramble anymore..........You get the point...............Those that think they are informed. hmmmm maybe you've met a few yourself...............

We are at $150 (50%) and I am waiting for a call back from the manager. Hopefully I can negotiate a date with 50% of the total. I really think we can get the rest once we have a date/time and I want a chance to rally the Pittsburgh freedom folks. Any money we raise over the $300 (either through ticket donations or DVD sales) will go right back to Adam and Corey for their screening fund.
