Not from here, I get server not found.
Tried from a Google search, found site, can't connect.
And AF's linked pic is not showing up here.

Pete, the site's working fine for me.

I'm ordering some supplies to "refresh" my chemistry set right now.

Yeah - when I posted that I immediately thought of you....

btw are you married? - Just curious...

Maybe we could compare labs.... I'm guessing yours would put mine to shame - but it's not bad.... Then again - every one that's seen it has made their eyes bulge out.... :) )

I am a bit disappointed at quantities of chems offered. Elemental is better.... but 3 month delays on orders have been reported... Still - you can't order 1L of anything from them unless in multiple containers....

Nope. Not married, not looking either.

Actually, your lab would probably put mine to shame at this point, I'm still building. I'm gearing it mostly toward fermentation, and I was disappointed at their lack of some things like separation funnels, screw-top test-tubes and a couple other little things I'm looking for. But, they have agar, petri dishes, culture loops, alcohol burners and things like that--so it's all good.

It's amazing how many chem lab things you can find/create yourself from a hardware store anyways. I made a 'still (now dismantled), from items I found there and stuff I had in the kitchen.

You should send me a pic of your lab. :)

It would take several pics - it's a rather small room and you need a 360 to get the total view. Also - my former roomie killed my camera via droping on it's lense, so I'm trying to revive another or buy a new one.

PM me your addy.... I'll see what I can do.

re: "not looking" - I seriously want to kidnap your vibrator! :D

I do have a couple of sep funnels but screw top test-tubes... think I have one or two....

My wish list is currently aimed more at lasers, large quantities of acids, some expensive and cool electronic components - like to make VR gloves, better servo motors - stuff like that...

I was bummed that the glass petri dishes were sold out. :( I have them on my with list. Have the plastic kind, but want something I can autoclave like the IV bottles...

So anyway, I'm rambling... sorry....

night!

Seems to be a bug in the PM system ... you sent me 2 messages - according to the board, but it only displays one. not sure which is right.
