Well my group got the greenlight to setup a table at the local fleamarket next Sunday, I ordered 5,000 slimjims so hopefully they will get here by then, if not a guy here from the forums sent me some of the older slim jims from DC. Im also planning on bringing my laptop and external 19in LCD and have ron paul videos playing while people walk by. We got our Ron Paul Revolution banner that we could hang in the front. Just wondering if anyone else had any suggestions. Thanks.

Maybe hang an official 2'x4' yard sign on front of the table? Would look a little more professional... not sure if that's what you're going for though.

And definitely print up some "issues" flyers and try to have something other than just slim jims available.

Ill have to check to see if anyone in the group has one, pretty much its going to look professional with the exception of the Revolution Banner.

This is a great idea. We have a local flea market here that attracts 10k plus visitors every weekend. I just posted to my Meetup asking if they'd like to put together a table at this flea market.

Lots of articles on every subject can be found at www.ronpaullibrary.org

Also, be sure to have everyone bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies, which are Ron Paul's addiction...They always go over well.

Print some stuff of ronpaulparapresidente.com

It's not officially authorized, but I've even gone as far as having Spanish yard signs printed with the address.

This is at Marshall's Creek, right? If you could let me know the general location of your booth (so no one has to walk around forever) and the time/date you plan on being there, I can try to have someone get up there with one.

The general all-encompassing issues flyer is available on the official site:

http://www.ronpaul2008.com/files/Flyer-Issues.pdf

You could also do some more in-depth ones by printing off some articles from RP's Texas Straight Talk or other newsletters/speeches. Most can be found on lewrockwell.com

Sounds like you have everything. Have someone there with you, it's more interesting and brings more people over. Good luck

Playing the videos is very important. If people listen to RP for 6 minutes they are usually hooked. Also, I wouldn't take the Revolution banner. It only has certain limited appeal. We want to appeal to the most possible.

Also, have slim-jims, bumper stickers, buttons, lawn signs, shirts, hats, etc. I would sell them then you know they will be put to use.

Is it possible to bring a batch of T-shirts, hats, bumperstickers, and/or buttons to sell? That way, your booth would have a more approachable "seller" feeling than a purely "informational" feeling. Since it's a flea market, people will probably feel more comfortable with you if you seem to be selling something.

Also, any stuff you sell will spread into the community and be more advertising for Dr. Paul!

I recall recently reading about a group doing a fleamarket where meetup members were asked to donate "fleamarketable" items to be sold in addition to handing out RP info.

People can get rid of some stuff they don't need and the proceeds fund meetup activities. This may even have been your group.. I don't remember who it was! lol.

If you are going to sell anything RP related, you need to be aware of the rules and follow them to the letter.

There are no restrictions for selling at a flea market, RP T-shirts and lawn signs that you bought.

The idea is to give easy access to them, if Paul supporters happen to be there and want them "cash and carry". The more out there sporting either, the better.
