I felt compelled to write this after receiving Dr. Paul's thank you email.

You have thanked us, Dr. Paul, but we also want to thank you. Thank you for risking everything to defend the God-given freedoms of ordinary citizens like us. No one likes to talk about it, but we all understand the dangers of standing up to the establishment. You are a great man who will forever be remembered as a defender of the people. A man who brought hope to America when all seemed lost. A man who understands that our potential as human beings can only be reached when we are free. A man willing to die to defend this freedom. We want you to know Dr. Paul, that so many of us would also give up our lives to protect you. You have kindled a fire in us all; a love for freedom that hasn't burned so strong since our fathers fought and died in our country's first Revolution. For the past few months, what may be only a fleeting moment in a lifetime of tyranny, we have seen the light of liberty kindled in the hearts of countless men. This light that you have brought to us will not burn out or fade away, and we will forever be grateful for this gift.
