YouTube - Hannity interviews socialists at the G20 protests (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy3gxBuEFKY)

He actually made sense most of the time.

Many people simply don't understand that the people at these protests are just as much our enemy, as the people running the G20. These people have no concept of any rights other than, "equality."

Those girls are not in reality.

But the G20 is not pro-capitalism. It's a bullshit dichotomy the media and people like Hannity keep setting up. That's the only reason to interview two dimwits like that.

I know.

How is only the protesters violence wrong, and the thugs in blue violence isn't wrong?

Isn't it amusing that the half of the population that has the wealth that only those few people do, don't live in capitalist countries? lol. I mean, this is the ultimate proof that capitalism is good.

lol@cities ravaged by capitalism.

There's no difference in between those people that are for coercive theft of the government aka legal plunder and the G20 people.

Well put.

These girls have not a clue how true capitalism should work or what free markets really are. They are simply spouting what they are told to spout.

They have not done their research and therefore cannot either answer the questions or put forth a reasoned argument, because they do not understand the problem.

Until they actually earn an income themselves, or run a business, they are simply lost little whiners.

Blah.

They're young, possibly malleable.

yeah, those girls seemed right about the killing innocent civilians part, but dropped it on the whole capitalism is bad part.

Hannity did OK, but didn't consider that the fed's are actually the ones staging violent protests often, and he did seem rather neo-connish

They also made foolish arguments in terms of not condemning the violence and destruction of private property.

Everybody who understands natural rights should oppose that sort of thing, but they don't want to bad mouth their protests and friends in any way. If there was violence at a Liberty Rally, we would all say "nobody here condones that type of action, or destruction of property", or something along those lines, when questioned by the media. Destruction of private property is wrong and stupid.

I hate how he phrases it.

"Police are forced to use tear gas"

I was surprised that I found myself agreeing with him much of the time. But I think his argument about there being no moral equivalence between the war and the violence at the protest was pretty weak. What exactly did he mean by that? Was it doublespeak? Of course there's no moral equivalence between dropping bombs and raiding villages, killing innocent civilians and rolling a dumpster down the street. I certainly don't condone any of the property damage at the G20 but still... Come on Hannity.
