Sorry if this is a somewhat duplicate thread, but today is the day! It's "make or break" time for HR1207 - and Ron Paul needs our help!!

From the Audit the Fed newsletter/email from yesterday:

Audit the Fed Hearings (today!)

Dear Supporter of Transparency,

After months of knocking on doors and attending rallies and functions to gather signatures on Audit the Fed (HR 1207) petitions, the House Financial Services Committee will finally hold hearings this Friday, September 25, beginning at 9:00 AM EST.

Please check this link for any changes to the schedule and to watch the live feed from the hearings.

In the coming days, it is vital that we call the representatives that serve on the Financial Services Committee. It is imperative that we remind our representatives not just to support an audit of the Fed, but to vote on this bill on it's own merits, without adding or taking away from it in any way and without adding it to any other legislation.

Sincerely,

The Audit the Fed Coalition

The list separates the Republicans and Democrats. Personally, I'm going to start at the *bottom* of each list, on the assumption that those members are the ones getting the fewest calls.

This is it, everyone! We need to put the heat on these guys to allow HR1207 to come to a vote without any changes to the text!!

Ha!

I've called five Democrats and three Republicans, and four of the eight go right to "sorry, voicemail is full" messages.

I hope everyone's pounding them on this.
