He doesn't have a day job.

Like, say, conscientiously representing Galveston in Congress.

One of the pluses to being a Fmr. Governor.

I really, really wish Ron and crew were out banging on doors during the week or doing some Townhall meetings. At this point as much as I want him casting votes, he'll serve the country and even his constituents better by staying out on the campaign trail.

I do, too. In his defense, he's running for Congress at the same time as he's running for President. On the other hand, he hasn't got that much competition back home. I can't say I really agree with what appears to be a decision to spend so much time in Washington.

He keeps talking about being overwhelmed and surprised and bewildered by the amount of support he is getting for his presidential candidacy. Sometimes I think he does not understand that he's on the back of a tiger, whether he intended to be or not, and he had better hang on and ride it.

^couldn't disagree more.

BULLY PULPIT FOLKS!!!

what lengths do our forum members go to in order to organize
calling campaigns/tv ads/radio ads/etc. ???? great lengths.

If we all just payed extra special close attention to his schedule
and the basic content of his speeches... say as little as 3 or 4 hrs.
before they were presented... we could really crank up that noise machine.
