Who's donating? I cannot, as I literally have $11 to my name until I get paid on the 25th. But if I didn't have to worry about gas money for the next two days I would donate. I'm sorry. :(

I'm donating.. and maybe a few friends. I don't have much money but as they say it's the thought that counts.

This sounds like a great idea! You stake out a place near the fundraiser, and have a nice polite protest. A counter-fundraiser, if you will. A couple of signs protesting protectionist election laws that freeze out 3rd party candidates from being on the ballot, or having their party listed, or participating in debates. Toss in a couple of signs encouraging people to donate to the LP for election and government reform… Get creative, right?
Then, you videotape the whole thing and throw it up on youtube. You drop some press releases on the local press, before and after, drop some on the cable news networks… Do this on a consistent basis, targeting fundraisers of both parties, not only might you get donations, but you might start getting some exposure! Keep it polite, well mannered, and focused on point. Election law reform, election participation, and help the LP. It’s a great idea. Start doing these nation wide heading into the 2010 silly season and I’m sure that someone will start covering it, Fox if no one else. Maybe MSNBC, if you are “protesting” a Republican fundraiser. That’s why you hit both parties though, right? So someone from either side will eventually cover it.
It is the perfect kind of grassroots, “viral”, new media sort of approach that is becoming so successful these days.
Ummmm… Oh… Someone just told me that’s not what was mentioned on the site. It’s just a little thing where only people who already support the LP just make pledges on the same day. That no one outside LP circles would really know about it anyway. Some symbolic sorta thing? Sorry. Apparently I am suffering from talking about something I know nothing about. I’ll put my tail between my legs and go read the actual announcement thingy now. Sorry about the interruption…

Bumping this up. If you are tight on cash, consider donating even just 5 or 10 dollars. If thats too much consider posting www.kentuckyfight.com on a couple web pages. If everyone pitches in a little bit it will be a big deal
The server is down...:(
Its working now, woo hoo!
